Mindfulness offers us the gift of learning to live in the now, to take control of our thoughts and our moods, and to live a more connected and relaxed life.
This relaxed and enjoyable Mindfulness workshop aims to introduce you to key thinking strategies and tools for living more mindfully – skills you would normally gain during a 6-8 week Mindfulness course. It is ideal for anyone who wants a comprehensive introduction to Mindfulness, Relaxation techniques and Positive Psychology, in an intensive one day course, rather than over a number of weeks. It could be just what you need to empower you be more relaxed, focused and content in yourself.
The Mindfulness workshop itself is relaxing and enjoyable and designed to equip you with new skills and techniques you can practice at home, and call in to action to support you anytime, anywhere.
About this Workshop
This specially designed and practical workshop incorporates a variety of proven techniques for reducing Stress & Anxiety, and achieving deep relaxation & inner calm – physically, emotionally and mentally.
- Mindfulness techniques help you learn to quieten your mind and stay in the present moment
- simple and effective Meditations connect you to your true or authentic self and achieve deep stillness, and peace
- Relaxation exercises & ‘better breathing’ techniques will help to reduce stress & anxiety and let go of tension

- Key aspects of living Mindfully, such as Awareness, Gratitude, Compassion, Day to day Mindfulness, Positive thinking and Stress Management techniques.
This course is ideal for complete beginners, as full instruction is provided, but those of you who wish to deepen your meditation practice and expand your repertoire of relaxation techniques will also benefit.
General Information about the Workshop
Breaks will be taken for a Mindful Lunch and some practice of Mindfulness techniques outside the studio. Light refreshments will be provided for late afternoon break time.
Dress style is loose comfy clothing. You will be sitting or lying on the floor for much of the workshop. Bring your yoga mat if you have one, or one can be provided at the studio if you don’t. Everything else you need will be provided.
The workshop is led by Yvonne Lucas. Yvonne is an accredited Psychotherapist & Play Therapist, in addition to teaching Meditation, Mindfuness & Relaxation, and Yoga to individual clients and groups. Yvonne has accredited training in the Stress Response & Relaxation Management and the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness, in addition to teaching diplomas in Yoga Meditation, Restorative Yoga & Yinn Yoga. In 2016 Yvonne completed her thesis on the therapeutic benefits of Mindfulness for emotional well being and stress reduction as part of an Msc in Psychology postgraduate training.
The workshop is held in Greystones Yoga Studios, Church Rd., Greystones Co. Wicklow, easy accessible from Wicklow and Dublin. You’ll enjoy sea views and easy access to the beach. We are a minute walk from the Dart station and easily accessible from the N11.
